Analog made the trip to Bridgetown Tuesday night to take on Celtic A in what were poor conditions. It was a highly competitive game and
there was nothing between the two sides at half time. Both teams had chances in the first half and failed to capitalize.
Both teams fought hard in the second half. Karen Howard received a yellow card after coming off her line and colliding with the
on coming Celtic striker, the referee pointed to the spot. The penalty hit the cross bar and came back out and was cleared initially
by the Analog defense but it found its way back in to the Analog net,
Celtic lead 1-0.
Analog rallied hard and we were rewarded with a great play from Claire O’Keefe who set up Davida O’Brien to make it 1-1.
Celtic restarted the game and Analog quickly gained possession and Miriam Liston crossed the ball into the goal and Davida O’Brien
buried it in the back of the net making it 2-1.
Another great play from Davida O’Brien saw Claire O’Keefe making it 3-1.
Celtic came back in the last few minutes of the game with a goal making it 3-2 but it wasn’t enough.
