This was a superb game played by 2 sides fully enjoying their football. MWHB scored half way through 1st half from a corner
crossed in by Cath Murphy and met inch perfect by the head of Mary Shire.
Herbertstown came out fighting in the 2nd half and they were rewarded with a goal when they split the MWHB defence
in half and dispatched the ball to the back of the net. With about 10mins remaining, MWHB were awarded a corner and in a
carbon copy of the 1st goal, the corner was crossed in by Cath Murphy and met brilliantly by Joy Neville.
Herbertstown kept up the pressure but the MWHB defence remained defiant holding on for a well deserved win.
