The season progressed smoothly this year and the following clubs were successful in the various competitions.
Lifford are the Premier League Champions again for the 10th season in a row [at least].
This is a fantastic achievement for a very talented team and to be able to maintain this standard speaks volumes for their skill,
commitment and dedication.
Aisling Annacotty also had a superb season winning the Div 1 cup and the Open Cup finals against Murroe and contesting the Munster Senior
and Intermediate finals. Aisling are a young team and are looking likely to be a strong force in the coming years.
Murroe won the L.W.S.S.L Junior League title for the highest ranked Junior side in the Limerick Ladies League [formerly the Div 1 Title]
and contested 2 cup finals, the Div 1 and Open Cup.
A very good season for the club, who also reached Munster, and National quarter finals of the Junior Cup.
Listowel brought National honours to the League when winning the National Junior Cup in Tralee beating the Defence Forces
in the final. This is a tremendous achievement and well done to Dominic and all the team.
In Division 2 The Mid Western Health Board annexed the A title for the 1st time following a great campaign pipping a gallant
Ballylanders by 2 points while in the B section of Division 2, Celtic Ladies retained the crown they won last year
following a heartstopping victory over a game Herbertstown team in the final match of the campaign.
The Division 2 Cup final was a great game of football with Bilbo overcoming Celtic Ladies 3-1 in a thriller in Rearcross.
