Underage Blitz a massive success
 
 
On Saturday April 18th, at Sean Choill Corbally, the Limerick Ladies League under-age Committee in partnership with FAI ran a very successful under-age Soccer Blitz.

Over 100 girls from 6 clubs ( 3 established , 3 new ) participated at U10, U12 and U14 age groups. It was a resounding success with further Blitzes planned in coming months. Provisional future locations to be confirmed are Newtown ( Shannon ), Bilboa , Annacotty, Geraldines, Coonagh and Regional.

It is an attempt to lay a strong foundation for Ladies Soccer at under-age level. The Limerick League gratefully acknolowedge FAI help in kick-starting Under-age soccer in Limerick, in particular: Carol Murphy FAI Women's Development Officer Munster, Tom O'Shea FAI Regional Manager - Munster along with local Limerick Development Officers Barbara Bermingham, Tommy Barrett, Michael McCarthy & Pat Halpin.
